Love the blues and spigelia

Blue is a color that is often not seen in the garden. Here are a few plants blooming now (along with some spigelia and others).

CAMPANULA GLOMERATA I like the deep indigo blue, and these bloom for some time. There are newer cultivars; tell me about them.

CANTERBURY BELLS are worth the bother of a biennial. This one is more sweetly fragrant than the indigo.

OOOOOH, Indian Pinks. I didn't recognize the botanical name. It's beautiful, and it grew wild on our acreage in Arkansas near the stream. I have a shade garden also and seeing your beautiful clump has inspired me to add this plant to my collection.

Love the campanula glomerata. It is simply a great plant. I grew lots of it when we lived in Montana, but it won't grow here in Delaware - just too acid, I think. Thanks for posting pictures of these flowers, they brought back memories.

So pretty! Love them all. Don't you wish those peonies were reblooming? Mine are done now. :( I need to try some of those iris, too. Just lovely. Not sure if caqmpanula will work here, but well worth it!
