Your garden is beautiful, Mantis. The peony pics are especially delightful. Your hostas are lush and green. It appears to be a really enjoyable place to walk.

My garden, here in the deep south, has had a similar weather experience this year. We have had the first spring I can remember that lasted more than a week or two. so often it is straight from our (admittedly much warmer than yours) winter to a scorching summer. The rose and iris blooms has lasted so much longer than usual. It has been pleasant to work in the garden. According to the weather man, that is just about over. He announced (with our weather forecast temperature at an unbelievable 51) that the next time he used the word cold, it would be at least October. Ah well. "All good things must come to an end."

Prairie Moon looking very white today as it first opens. Not quite so pristine white as pictured, and it usually is more of a pale yellow.

Everything is so pretty. Love the Saturn iris especially. And the alliums.

Hi Mantis,..stunning collection of Peony all looking in tip top condition,..love those Aquilegia they do give lots of various blooms and ground cover as well,..a "Nora Barlow Aquilegia " appeared in my garden last year,..volunteer plant.

Your ground cover looks very natural,..Pulmonaria Officinalis,..Ferns and Hostas blend in very well.

I need to find a yellow peony like that. Very beautiful. I grew a yellow tree peony once that lived and bloomed for nearly 5yrs. but froze back and two years later bloomed pink! and has lost it's "tree" shape.
