OT rare twins

I thought y'all might like to see these. Siblings Wasswa and Nakato are only the second set of living twin giraffes born in the U.S. And boy, are they cute. They are at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, which is about 40 miles from here. The ranch is located at Natural Bridge Caverns.

Giraffes are such neat animals. I always like to see them at the zoos.

I haven't been to Natural Bridge Caverns for years. Nice place! And I hadn't heard about the twins or about how unusual they are. How exciting!. I wonder why they have them separated?

Wow - first time I ever heard of twin giraffes being born! Thanks for sharing the terrific photo. Am guessing both my kids (who were born in TX) would be interested in seeing this. Have you posted this on Facebook as well as GardenWeb?
