I'm usually so good about taking pix of my own garden, and so very bad when we go traveling around Northern CA! In my defense I will claim it did rain on both our first two short trips this year....but forgetting to bring the camera when we were walking around doesn't help, LOL.

I did get this one gorgeous shot of a protea in full bloom. Although we only live 75 miles north of Monterey/Carmel, this plant won't grow outdoors where I live, despite our being in the fog belt. We're just a little too nippy here, so I wanted a photo of it.
