setting a signature

Ok, this might be an awfully silly question but how does everyone get a signature link to attach to each of their posts?

I've been looking through the member page options, and I can't find a place to set a signature ... any ideas?

I don't think there is a way to do that automagically here. I think they are doing it by hand each time.
