well, I've taken a liking to a pink and white striped one & a white one - can't recall the names.

I just got the kit and I'm excited to get started on this project.

I think it might be a good idea to head over to the clematis forum and post the same message. I suspect that your success with this particular trellis might depend heavily on selecting the right clematis, since there is such variability in growth habit. I think I would not choose based on flower preference but rather on which clematis is the most suitable for this trellis.

Thanks Christine. But I already own several clematis (mostly Jackmaii) and know this particular form of trellis will work with clematis. It's just a matter of setting up wires and tying the first branches to the wires. Later growths would build on the first branches.
