It is going to be very pretty. Plus you seemn to have quite the variety of plants there. What is the orange one blooming off to the left?

I really like your pathway and viney trellis. It's looking good!

It is already really looking great! Everything is doing beautifully in there. The design is awesome too.
Can't wait to see everything full grown, lush and blooming!
Great job, Kay.

Very nice, Kay! I love the layout and you have a nice variety of plant in there. It's going to be a favorite destination in your garden to walk the fun pathway through it.

Lots of work digging that up, I'm sure! It's looks lovely.

Thanks all, yes scully it was a pain to dig, but once it's planted, it just feels good.

Rita, that orange plant is Butterfly Weed. I have a couple of small ones, but this is one of the plants my daughter-in-law found for me for mother's Day. (You know it wasn't my son). The other milkweed is in with the taller plants on the other side.

Just about everything in here is aimed toward butterflies or hummers.

I have a few more plants coming that will be in there, even if I have to "steal" a little more lawn.

I have Butterfly weed coming mail order too. I just didn't expect to see a newly planted one that tall. It is all looking good and I know the hummers and butterflies will love it.

Well, the mail order plants may do well next year, but they are slow growers for now. They have doubles in size, but aren't a patch on the size of that one. It cam from a local nursery, the same one I got that fushia from that is planted on the far left of the picture.
