Pink Poppy/ Purple Allium

I just bought a new camera and have been having fun with the macro mode. I took these in my garden yesterday after a light rain.

Very nice cat. I love the canning pictures. I do some of that too, and isn't there the greatest satisfaction when you see the jars all lined up and hear the concert of "pop...pop...pop..and know they have all sealed? The receipes look very good.

I have really come around to loving alliums, and plan to plant more of them this year. and I'm just envious of the poppy (jealous might be accurate but it sounds so bad).
