My Northern Garden in spring

There are still not many flowers here altho many are starting. We need more sun and less rain for blooms. I'll post a few pics and the rest are on "my Shutterfly site."

One of my lilacs is just beginning to bloom.

This is a Dogwood shrub with Leopard's Bane (yellow daisies) behind.

This Columbine will soon bloom with lovely pink flowers.

Oh you are further ahead than I am! My lilacs are still in small bud stage, and unfortunately I think all my columbine froze out over the winter. Makes me really sad, I have had the one songbird columbine in my garden for about 15 years.

Thanks y'all! The sun if finally shining so I soon should be able to take pics of more blooms.

Thanks hosenemesis! I think about your moniker every time I pull my long hoses around my yard! And that I don't think my garden will ever look as good as yours! :)
