wow. When you look at the size of that espalier, it totally hits you that it is that huge. I can just imagine the kind of work needed to maintain it.

That is really amazing! It must be maintained by professional window washers turned gardeners! I think you'd need scaffolding to keep that trimmed up!

A lot of thought went into that, maybe Wintercreeper was a good choice, it was growing here when I bought my house 12 years ago and I've never had to trim it or keep it in bounds, just occasionally remove some solid green growth. Mine is shaded with some morning sun.
