I've never heard of "straw foxglove". I like the foliage and softer color.

I've never seen them either. Really pretty! I like that peachy pink, but the creamy yellow colored ones are gorgeous.

I wouldn't be so sure that the bees deserve all the credit. Many varieties of plants don't necessarily come true from seed. What you might have, Lois, is your own homegrown digitalis purpurea "Apricot Beauty." Lots of nurseries sell it; this is just one example.
