How prolific are moonflower and morning glories?

I havent grown either morning glories or moon flowers before. When I see pictures, I assume those massive vines are multiple plants? This year I put in a few arched trellis to grow my cucumbers and beans on, and put in a few seeds of moon flowers and morning glories along with them. Was that a mistake? Are those vines so prolific that they will tend to cover up the fruiting vines?

The arches are from cattle panel fencing, so 4 ft. across on the sides, with the legs about 5 ft. apart, they stand 6.5 ft tall. I was hoping to just dress them up with more color, but I am now wondering if there is going to be to much competition for the light. Looks like so far there are 6 or 8 of the MG.s/MF.s sprouting for each arch.
