I love seeing the unlikely places plants somehow manage to grow. I remember seeing a tree growing out of the side of a bridge--the thing had grown to about 4 feet tall in what looked like a handful of dirt that had collected on a beam.

When I read the post title I was thinking you were going to post pictures of really tall sunflowers, so seeing a plant in a tree was a bit of a surprise. :)

Isn't that just too cute! Might also have been 'planted' by a squirrel or chipmunk. Apparently they have many storage places for seeds.
