Great vase, too.

Great peonies! I don't have many, and the ones I do have aren't producing blooms like they used to. I probably should do something about that.

Thanks for showing us yours.

A very beautiful arrangement of peonies. They really are lovely.

We had a good year for Peonies this year. Mine just finished. The thunderstorms the last couple of days have done them in. When I moved into this house 8-9 years ago, there were a group of peonies under a big maple tree that weren't doing much. I dug them out, separated them, and put them in a sunnier area. I have divided them twice since and now have 6 large clumps in the yard. Love em, we have been enjoying vases of them too. Iris are done, peonies are done - Lilies will be the next big blooms, and they are my favorites!

GORGEOUS! What are the other flowers (and greenery) in the bouquet?

They are absolutely beautiful, and you have at least two lovely vases. If you have a collection, I wish you would set it out and take a picture ans share them with us. I love pretty vases and it would be a treat to see.

Kay, yeah I have a whole collection of Hull vases, this McCoy is a hand me down from my Mother in law. Funny, when I received it, I didn't really like it. NOW I love it! Most of my vases sit in a cabinet gathering dust, this one I LOVE to use for Peonies.

MilaB, the other flowers in the arrangement, I stuck some geranium in there, no idea what variety. I know I put in one plant years ago, and now it is growing everywhere. The greenery I think is Anise Hyssop, I know it's a hyssop with a chartreuse color that I encourage to reseed around the gardens. It always adds a bright spot. Oh yeah I have some wild parsnips growing, so I cut the flower and stuck that in too. Can't let that reseed, or I will have a mess. Looks nice in an arrangement though.

Thanks everyone!
