WInter Kill

I have had more things not come back this year than any year in the past 10. It really surprised me. My Primrose Japonica are gone, my Hillside Black Beauties are gone, my Climbing Hydrangea is dead a lot of my Sweet Woodruff died out and even my mint patch didnt come back. All of them have been with me for 8-10 years.

It wasnt particularly cold for WI, we had lots of snow to insulate, but we did have more ice than usual. And I think we had at least a few days above freezing each month (which is unusual)

Everything that survived is super healthy. My Clematis have never looked this vigorous, the blueberries I put in last year look good (except for the deer-pruning) The abundant rain this spring is making everything look lush, but I am missing my old friends.
