Amaranth I.D.

This amaranth came up last year in my garden. How it
got there, I don't know because I didn't put it there. The
only amaranth seed I have is Hopi Red Dye and Oeschberg.
This does not look like either of them. I really liked this
amaranth, the flower was amazing and it was very tall, like
8 feet. I didn't save any seed, but a lot of seedling are
coming up, that I will transplant. I would like to know
which variety this is, or maybe it's a hybrid of some sort.
Any ideas?

Hi Roper. If you want a really quick answer, post this to the "Name That Plant" forum at . They're wizards over there, and it's a very active forum.

RE: Amaranth I.D.

maybe it's a hybrid of both plants

RE: Amaranth I.D.
