Thanks, everyone. I love the basket too. I saw it in a florist's when I was visiting my sister out of town, and I had to have it. I love the patina, and the fact that it is low is, as some one mentioned, really nice for a dining table. The table is 11' long so the proportion works well too.

Flowers - i didnt do anything special to any of the flowers. I was having company for brunch and then more company for dinner, so I only needed it to last 1 day! The whole thing ended up lasting 3 days, to my surprise.
