Oh no! I am so so sorry. Can you use BT on them?

Same here, we're a picking and a stomping. Around here about every 10 or 11 years we have a mega outbreak of these horrid little things and this is the year. They are so bad it would cost a fortune to buy enough BT. What we did is take out all the trees that they like to lay their eggs in so although the garden is crawling with them so at least we don't have any nests to contend with.
Our neighbors apple tree is covered with nests, this tree must be 50 years old give or take a few and there is no way to get at the top to cut these nests out, of course these nests are on the uppermost branches.
We might have another bad year next year and then they will drop off to next to nothing.

I go out 2x a day, pickin' and a squishin'!! Its pretty bad...they are EVERYWHERE!!! I went to Buckerfield's to console myself with 2 color/kinds(purple with white throat & pink with purple throat) of PENSTEMON!!! and a Rudebeckia (Cherry Brandy)!! I have been wanting to get more penstemon as it is sooo pretty! I bought four of them and should of bout the other four...I just love them so much!

Just a update: I found 4 butterfly caterpillars(big & fluffy!!) at the recycling depot today, crawling around in a pot...so I rescued them and took them to the forest beside the dog park(my next stop). Yesterday I followed 2 butterflies around my yard...to see what they like...so I can plant More for them!!! ;-)
