The Beetles ARe Here!!!

Found the first Japanese beetles munching on my roses today. I think I dumped six into the soapy water bucket I had ready for them. That is a bit of a slow start for them. Maybe all the birds that are all over my garden have found them. One can hope. They found the blueberries without any trouble. I don't mind that, as there are plenty for them and for us.

Wouldn't it be a blessing if they did go after the beetles?

NOOOO!!! I was hoping they became extinct. Must have been a dream (sigh) We're next :(

We've been lucky the last two years, so I'm thinking it will be a bad one for beetles this summer here as well.
