YAY! My Plum Crazy Hibiscus (A few Pics) and Shady Corner

This was literally a teeny straggly root with ONE leaf last year in May and it has BLOSSOMED into a showy, purple wonder *sparkle, dazzle, happy tears*

I also give it 3 THUMBS Up for making it through last winter in a fabric pot.

With daylily "Yellow Pinwheel", Thalictrum "koreana", and panicum "Cloud Nine"

A shady Corner with "Mojito" Colocasia, an unknownplant I got in an exchange (plant on right) and Viola Etain, which started out compact and now is very leggy,but I still love it.

and I will just slip this Pineapple Moon and Edged in Ink daylily in here.

WOWSER,your flowers are gorgeous,however that hibiscus shows up almost pepto bismal pink on my screen,still a beauty though!! Is it a dinner plate size one??Those lilies are beautiful as well,reminds me of sherbert(ice cream).

DH bought us a couple new hibiscus this year and he got the ones that have different colored blooms on each plant and i totally fell in love with them,just wish the blooms lasted longer.

Pepto Bismol! LOL! My DH does publishing so we have a color-correct monitor and I can assure that the flower color is GORGEOUS! I really like it mixed with the cosmos.

Ctc, I'll have to try 'Plum Crazy' again. I tried it quite a while ago and it didn't make it. I have other hibiscus that do OK so thought this one might be a little weak, but based on your survival story I'll have to find it again and give it another chance.

I could totally see this plant in Peptic Bismal Pink. I could surround it with a variety of other pink flowers and call it my Legally Blonde Garden.
Yes, I think it's a dinner-plate one, because it's gloriously oversized. ;)
thyme, almost anything looks good with those cosmos. Lol. I am So So happy with those lovely things, I'm going to attempt to save seeds. Yes, give it a second shot. I lost Robert Fleming, which was a rich, dark red, but that's because the plant sent was really small and struggling. I might go for another one.

My Plum Crazy is the most weak, sorry excuse for a hibiscus that I have found. Yours is beautiful but the Pineapple Moon daylily is absolutely gorgeous.
