Oh, schoolhouse, they must look lovely at night! Not too much clutter at all. In fact, I think they pretty much disappear in the daylight, but will be wonderful in the evenings and I rather like that they come on one at a time. Now I want some! BTW, love all your benches, especially the stone one.

Thanks. It says "Indoor/Outdoor" on the label so I'm hoping they last this summer at least. As long as water can't flood into the battery compartment on the bottom I think they should be ok. I'll bring them in during winter of course. Except, wouldn't that be lovely to see them glowing amid the snowy boughs? sigh.

Thanks cyn, the "stone bench" is actually a DIY made from two concrete benches years ago. I used one for the seat and one for the back, plus legs from the first bench. The back should be dug out and set back in place one of these days as it's slowly sinking. Lasted a very long time tho.

I think you've found perfect spots for your lanterns. You have such inviting seating in your garden.
