I'd love some, Organic Kitten! I've never grown cleome and I love seeing it in pictures. :-)

Just send me an email, and I'll send you my address. They are very easy to grow, and you get a lot of bloom from a tiny seed. They do self sow freely, but are easy to pull up if they sow where you don't want them.

I never did go for the cleome this year. Just ran out out steam and time.

I'll send you some seeds and you can toss them out or toss them in the trash. You don't have to pre-plant it. It wll grow all by itself.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful but I can't deal with starting anything now. Its far too late in the year. I even have some zinnia and some red cosmos in flates here that I started from seed that I still haven't gotten planted in ground. And itts almost August. No matter what my plans for the garden or how much I do, I just never do get to get absolutly everthing I had hoped for done. But I am not really complaining about the garden as I did get so much done this year. And I am still working, currently on moving some daylilies around.
