As July ends.. Subtle colors and small diversions.

This year, everything ramped up quickly, and just as quickly left. Usually my garden would near its end in mid august, with the later blooming asters showing forth..

Whats left is stuff you need to look close for, the garden is mostly green and even if its mostly weeded, Ive been cutting back perennials early this year.

Notorious Peppermint.. I like it for several reasons, one of which is its subtle flowers in mid summer.
