Don't know, but I live in the south so your critters and pests are probably different. Hope you can find a chemical-free solution. I can't find the name of the cinnamon-based spray that I used a few years ago for some unknown nibblers.

Here in New Jersey, I have had those little white worms for the last two summers on my bee balm. They have ruined the look of the blooms, but I have noticed hummingbirds feeding from them anyway. The worms don't seem to be doing permanent damage. I plan to look for a non-chemical solution.

No white worms, but I find little skinny light green caterpillars on a few different plants ... bee balm, lady's mantle, & anise hyssop. The leaves are either skeletonized especially the red currant or curled up around the fatter caterpillars.

I just picked off the leaves & stepped on them.
