ID sedums

Two sedums resided here before us. One is a common low growing sedum with beautiful intricate whorls (I think) of dark green tiny jagged leaves. Its tiny yellow flowers already bloomed. It creeps along, but is easy to keep under control.

The other is vertical and looks like stalks of spruce. It must be about 12" high and also gets clusters of tiny yellow flowers at the top of each stalk. It is not quite so easy to control(roots are more tenacious), but more so than some. gramma jan
