I guess only a Gardner understands

In the yard today weeding/watering and being observant, a Downy Woodpecker catching insects on the trunk of a tree, Hummingbirds on the Zinnias and chasing each other just a foot away from me, I've always thought that the Garden was a spiritual place, my meditation time, on the other hand my partner of 11 years could care less. Thank goodness I have the soul of a Gardener. I think I will write a poem now LOL

Cannas are blooming

Beautiful! I would love to have a castor bean, and your delph/hollyhock combo is amazingly wonderful-accident or not!

I agree completely - there is much happening in the peace of the garden. I feel the spiritual part of it as well so often.

Fab pics! I need to try a castor bean - have never done that but I have just the place for it. And the delph/hollyock is soooo pretty together.
