Whats left in the drought..

Its been decades since we had so little rain in a summer period..

Ive pretty much given up on stuff for the year.. roses and dayliles are pretty much spent, lost stuff to the heat and dryness, jbs on the usual munching destruction path etc..

Anything I get now is just bonus I figure..

My one and only Hibiscus that the deer somehow forgot to eat earlier...

Group shot of purple coneflower.. you dont want to get too close to see all of them JB holes

{{gwi:428469}}

Here is a close up shot, you can see one of them blasted jbs in there

Nicotinia sensation mix.. not as grand as last year

Comos, the orange type didnt seem to mind the dry heat.. the larger version, not so much..

{{gwi:428471}}

Corepsis Rosea..

Cardinal Flower

{{gwi:426764}}

Annual Mondar, lemon mint

{{gwi:428470}}

Annual Aster

Snaps

Pretty much all wrapped up, some new england aster left and maybe a couple rebloom of some modern roses, but the jbs been eating those quickly...
