Not sure about the crocus but the grape hyacinths are popping up everywhere.

Do you mean flowers on fall blooming crocuses or foliage on spring blooming crocuses?

I have one clump of colchicum flowers starting to emerge after receiving 2 inches of rain over the weekend. And my single clump of Scilla autumnalis has been in bloom now for the past couple of weeks. I also have some Lycoris chinensis which have been sending up bloom scapes throughout August.

As for spring bulbs, I see some muscari foliage popping up here and there.

Oh, perhaps the OP did mean autumn crocus.Sorry. I have one that is just now peeking up out of the soil. Not sure where the others have gone, they've been so reliable for so many years I'm hoping they survived the drought and critters.

I have autumn crocus (colchicums) blooming for about a week. True autumn crocus haven't come up yet, not until late Sept.-Oct. Lots of muscari (grape hyacinth) coming up everywhere, but they do that in the fall, stay green all winter and bloom in the spring.

I like seeing them come up now, it lets me know where they are so I don't accidentally plant something on top of them.
