I winter sowed mine (from a trade) with good results. Same for blackberry lily seeds.

I WS'd a bunch and got one teeny plant. Didn't try any indoors.

I just harvested my Blackberry Lily seeds the other day. Picked them off and dropped them in a large pot of soil right next to the parent plants. Sprinkled a little soil over them and they will do what they do. That is how I got the parent plants going - from seeds I got on the Seed Exchange forum. I want more of them in other areas. So pretty. I tired just dropping them on the ground, but apparently something eats them, so back to WS-ing in a big pot.
I started with only one plant. I planted all the seeds and only one germinated. However, they have multiplied and multiplied and filled that area.

Thanks all. There are so many seeds I can try all the suggestions and still have some left over, lol. I scattered some already. There will be more gathering to do for a few more days. I just love the way the flowers appear to float in mid air when viewed from a bit of distance.

Annie, that's an interesting idea about just dropping them into a large pot of soil to see what happens. I might have to give that a try.
