Good News and Bad News...

The good news instead of our "normal" 85 Degrees early in the morning, it's 68 Degrees, what a relief!

The bad news is gusting winds, no rain, fires out of control in North and Central Texas. Prayers for all those in these disaster areas.

How I wish Lee could have given your state all of the rain he dumped on ours.

I'm looking forward to the cooler temps coming tomorrow and the rest of the week ... then it's back to summer.

Sure wish some of the rain that Irene dumped on New Jersey & New England could have been diverted to Texas where it's desperately needed. Glad the temp has cooled anyway.

We were sure hoping for some of it too here in Oklahoma. We are in the same shape. Enjoying the very cool temps though right now, but it is so dry! Still have fires everywhere. Still on burn bans.
