Apparently Madonna hates hydrangeas.. She was offered one and she was rude about it.

Here is a link that might be useful: Madonna and Hydrangeas

Those open mics get ya every time, lol.

RE: Madonna Hates hydrangeas

I like some hydrangeas, but I know how you can learn to hate them. If it doesn't rain, those mop heads droop and make you feel bad. We haven't had a good rain since the end of May when it flooded.

RE: Madonna Hates hydrangeas

hate is a powerful emotion. I just don't get how one hates such lovely flowers.

RE: Madonna Hates hydrangeas

I don't fault her or anyone else for not liking a plant, but to be so rude? And to a fan? I guess she's filled with so much self-importance that she's forgotten it's fans that brought her to where she is today. My opinion of her dropped a little.

RE: Madonna Hates hydrangeas

I adore hydrangeas and could care less about Madonna.

But in fairness, I don't think she was rude. I think she was ok to him and then made a side comment she thought was private, sotto voce. It could have been much worse.

Fan or no, a flower is a romantic symbol in my book and for a random, strange grown man to approach with one is almost creepy, IMHO.
