Wow, Lily, that IS like winning the lotto! I love passalongs, it gives so much meaning to the garden.

For me it's hard to remember where I purchased certain plants, but if a division or seed from a plant was shared with me I can always fondly remember that person.

I feel like that when my friend Bobby calls with plants to share. Love the things I've gotten from him, the crape myrtles from my friend Gary, and lots of others. And I always remember who gave them, as herblady says.

We're blessed to have friends like that.

It's so true! Every day when I go in my garden I think of hoovb, linda and natanya, each of whom sent me plants in the garden. I love pass-a-longs. The problem with them is that I can't shovel-prune them if they don't do well!
