| Just came in from wrapping and tying down the tarp on the metal glider out in the garden. Marks the end of another season. The other day I gathered up the various tables and chairs and put them in the storage building, save for the small bistro set in the courtyard garden. Not only am I not ready to give up that nice place to relax with coffee, I have to find space to store it. Perhaps that will go down to the cellar, no more room in the building. Everything fits in there like a jigsaw puzzle!

| I prepped my garden for the winter a couple of weeks ago and it's a good thing as we've had snow this week. Always a sad thing to do but necessary. I left a few garden decorations out as I think they'll look pretty with snow on them. I no longer winterize any plants, it's survival of the fittest around here. Now have deer-proof fencing so plants will no longer be munched on all winter. Looking forward to seeing the tastiest ones achieve some height. |
