Wrapped up for the winter

Just came in from wrapping and tying down the tarp on the metal glider out in the garden. Marks the end of another season. The other day I gathered up the various tables and chairs and put them in the storage building, save for the small bistro set in the courtyard garden. Not only am I not ready to give up that nice place to relax with coffee, I have to find space to store it. Perhaps that will go down to the cellar, no more room in the building. Everything fits in there like a jigsaw puzzle!

Everyone else ready to slow down and "wrap things up"?

RE: Wrapped up for the winter

I prepped my garden for the winter a couple of weeks ago and it's a good thing as we've had snow this week. Always a sad thing to do but necessary. I left a few garden decorations out as I think they'll look pretty with snow on them. I no longer winterize any plants, it's survival of the fittest around here. Now have deer-proof fencing so plants will no longer be munched on all winter. Looking forward to seeing the tastiest ones achieve some height.
