Wondering around the yard and saw this lily blooming, with penstemon? and a peach!?, and a clematic pushing out a last bloom! And a yellow foxglove?foxtail, can't remember...

| What beautiful surprises! My October surprise is that the waterlily colchicum that I planted three weeks ago, thinking that I would have to wait until next year to see them, are now up and in bloom! |

| I had the same thing happen with my foxglove, and I believe it's the same variety: digitalis ambigua. I love mine; it's come back three years now. |
