tree identification

i left behind my cottage garden and moved to an old farmhouse. before i start new cottage garden i need to identify what i may want to keep.

there is a large tree/bush thing in the front with large red berries on it. the tree itself has multiple trunks like a lilac.

here's pic of the leaves;

any idea what this is?

The biggest leaf looks like something from the maple tree family or a liquid amber.Love your blog,didn't take the time to read,just looked at all your beautiful animals.Love the little lamb and girl and that pig is precious,never seen one with that coloring,will it stay that way??

Hmm, I don't think it's either of those.

Thanks for checking out the blog. The pig will stay that colour. She's a berkshire/tamworth cross. The tams are reddish brown and the berks are black. She's a cutey!

The Name that Plant Forum might be able to give you the exact Viburnum species.

Appears to be mapleleaf viburnum - lots of red berries this time of year.
