Who wants brugmansias?

| I have too many. I know I took too many cuttings. I should have traded them before I rooted them.
I've got 12 Ecuador White cuttings to get rid of. All came from one of three plants. These got to about 5' tall and 3' wide, more vertical than sprawling.
The other 12 I want to get rid of are yellow/orange varieties. They start out pale yellow and fade to orange. The largest plant was over 8' across and 6' tall. The smallest was 6' tall and 6' wide. Large plants.
Not specifically looking for trades, and the yellow/orange will need another couple weeks for rooting, but I'm taking orders now. However, if you have small rooted plants for trade, I'm willing to consider them.
Really wish we had an exchange forum here at the Cottage Gardens. I mean, cottage gardens used to be mostly passalong plants anyway.
Postage is $5 if you just want some of these plants. I ship USPS using their flat rate box. Bareroot. |

| Token, I'd love to adopt a couple of the Ecuador Whites, but am not sure my sun exposure is sufficient so will need some hand holding. A couple of years ago another Garden Webber sent me a rooted brug and I failed at getting it thru the winter - would like to try again, if you'd trust me! |

| I have mine planted in mostly shade. They get some morning sun but after noon, they're shaded by the house. Be sure to let them dry out completely after potting when overwintering. I lost two nice cuttings last year from overwatering. The don't need much moisture in the winter when they're sleeping. Email me and I'll send you my address. |

| Thanks, token, I will email you later tonite so we can arrange the transfer. Good to hear you killed a few too, now I don't feel so dumb, and overwatering (killing w/kindness) was probably my crime too. Later ....... :o) |

| I still have about half a dozen of each left if anyone is interested. A poster in the brug forum tells me that this is Charles Grimaldi. I can't be certain, but I really want to agree. |

| Not to appear greedy, but if they're not all taken by GWebbers, and they should have first dibs, I have a friend who'd like a couple of the orange/yellow ...... so, 2 whites and 2 o/y for me, if possible and thanks again! |

| If you have any of the yellow/orange left I would love to give them a try. Maybe one or two? Let me know, I will send postage. Or, I could send you a couple of hardy geraniums. I know you said you were looking for geranium seeds in the wintersowing swap that you're hosting (I sent some), but if you want a couple of plants, I have some three-packs that I ordered from Bluestone a couple of weeks ago, that I haven't gotten in the ground yet. I have three kinds -- Biokova Karmina, dalmaticum and sanguineum 'Dilys.' |
