The garden at Highgrove - tonight on TV

I doubt that it's really cotagy', but some of you might be interested in this program I just noticed is on the PBS channel we can get here. This is what the program notes say:

Highgrove: Alan Meets Prince Charles
In 1980, the Prince of Wales bought historic Highgrove House near Tetbury in Gloucestershire and its 15 acres of almost featureless garden. In the ensuing 30 years, Prince Charles set about transforming the landscape into a beautiful array of diverse gardens. HIGHGROVE: ALAN MEETS PRINCE CHARLES is the first in-depth exploration of the inspirational vision and passion embedded in Prince Charles' personal sanctuary. The special is hosted by noted U. K. garden journalist Alan Titchmarsh (Ground Force).

Beautiful garden! Mind you, 15 acres and 12 gardeners makes a lot possible :-) Did anyone see the show?

Thanks to both of you, Woody for given us the heads up and Herbalbetty for giving us the link, I watched it last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I knew Prince Charles was an avid gardener but to see what he actually created is something else.
I loved the bit where on his walkabout he bent and picked a weed or two, I felt Aha! a kindred spirit. The only thing is... now I want a stumpery and mossy walls with water dribbling around and through ferns and..... a folly, and a retreat and.... sigh.

    Thanks again you two.

I missed it this time around, but have seen it before. Loved it. I've also been intrigued that he gardens organically. There is also a coffee table book about Highgrove that has been one of my favorites for awhile.
