this is so wonderful to hear!
I feel very lucky, too - even though my husband is not into gardening, he loves to be surrounded by beautiful plants. I do most of the garden work on my own - due to his health issues he does not help me. However, he does not mind mine spending as much as I want/need for the garden (or anything else). In fact, he encourages me to spend more, and not to be cheap when it comes to soil, plants, architecture, hired help for heavy duty work in a garden, and such.
So, yes - I do feel very fortunate and blessed.

My DH was like that. He was willing to do anything I asked.

The 8th would have been our 32nd anniversary.

You're right, the time flies.

A loving and supportive DH is so romantic.

I have carte blanche out in the garden and yard.

I never asked him to dig holes for me because I wanted to do it myself, but he does take me to garden related places when we travel, and has already committed to taking me to the Philadelphia Flower Show next year.

Over the years, he has absorbed enough gardening knowledge from listening to me so that he knows the names of many of the roses, and has his own favorite.

But mostly he just loves to see me enjoying myself.

Nat, thank you. It has been 7 years. I do ok until I start talking about him.
He was my 2nd DH and I really hit the jackpot with him.
