I am an artist and art professor living in Dallas TX and I�m looking for an environmentally sustainable source of wood to use for carving. I specialize in carved cooking utensils and am having trouble finding a source of fruitwoods. The types of fruit tree woods I�m looking for include cherry, apple, peach, apricot, and pear. The ideal sizes could range from 3 to 4 inches in diameter and up. Firewood grade and downed branches would work, green wood is preferred, but I would be willing to use any reasonable sized scraps you have.
