Have you tried looking at JoAnn's or Michaels or maybe even Hobby Lobby. They might have some on display. Years ago we used some extra tall Pampas grass that had been dyed different colors. Good Luck !

most hobby shops have a good selection of dried stems like curly willow.....or grasses...make a simple but nice looking arrangement.....

Me again ! I was at a Hobby Lobby store the other day and they had some tall stems for arranging. Some of them were a tall, tall grass dyed in different colors plus stems etc. I'm not sure how wide spread the Hobby Lobby stores are. Some areas have them and some don't.

I recently posted some flower display photos on my site. The tall heliconia should work. You can purchase dried/artificial heliconias and dislay them in a even taller urn.
