Scented Pine Cones

Posted by sweetkountry 6 (My Page) on Mon, Feb 11, 08 at 2:39
I am thinking of making some scented pine cones with some pine cones I purchased after Christmas. They don't have much smell left.
I love the smell of flavored coffees, but I don't drink coffee. I was wondering if anyone has ever added the coffee to pinecones to make the scented cones? |

| Newbie here - saying Hello and writing to tell you that I just posted a msg to another post here about pinecone firestarters. I've seen tutorials on the net on how to make them, but as I wrote in the other msg, it's getting way to late and I need to call it a day because I get up so early for work. I will try to find it tomorrow and repost then. In the meantime, type "pinecone firestarers" in your web browser line and see what you come up with. It just might be one of the tutorials I was thinking about. Sal |

| Sweetkountry, I was wondering if you made your pinecones? I have only made cinnamon scented ones with cinn. oil from the drug store, but I use to make candles, and they make coffee scented candle additives, you might check that out. Not sure if regular coffee would work. Please post to let us know if you made them and how they turned out. |
