screen wire flowers

I am looking for directions on how to make 3-D objects out of screen wire. I saw these at a craft show. They were made in the shapes of flowers, Christmas trees, and snowmen. They were painted. Any help would be appreciated.

I went to Google.com and found things I want to go back and look at! But I only went to 2 pages so didn't find what you were looking for. When I have more time I will go back. I can probably spend a lot of time looking at 'screen wire sculpture' on Google.
Thanks for the idea--it sent me there.

bookit, I know what you are talking about and I want to do this too. I made a tree last xmas by folding the screen into a triangle , attached to a stick , filled in with ceramic morter, then painted. Worked o.k. but a little heavy. Right now, I am trying different things to fill in with and my next will be flour and water. (simple if it works)Have you found out what to use? Barb in Ar.
