Hello. I'm hoping someone can point me to the right paint for this job. I bought a bird feeder that's a black perforated tube with an aluminum dome lid. I want to change the color of the aluminum dome to something that will blend better in the garden. I have in mind an aged bronze or dull copper. Warm, dark, low-key.

So I need paint that can be used on metal, will hold up outdoors, and comes in those dull metallic finishes. Searching the web is not finding them. I'm sure someone here will know if anyone does.

I thought of another approach: can Rub n'Buff be used for outdoor things? I found nothing about that, one way or the other.
