I just gather leaves that either Japanese Beetles (wild grape vine) or Saw Flies have skeletonized (Arrowood and some Viburnums). I've spray painted them black or metallic gold and used them in wreaths or stuck them on the sides of large candles. Let nature do the dirty work.
