Does anyone know of a solution which can be applied to copper for the purpose of renewing its shine?

If you don't want to go out and buy anything, you can use a mixture of salt and vinegar, make a paste and scrub away!

A lemon half dipped in salt does a handy job. The lemon, which acts as a scrubber, provides the acid which mixes with the salt to produce a weak hydrochloric[?]
acid. Keep adding salt as needed, it is a mild abrasive. Good luck.

Hi La,
Make a paste of baking soda and lemon juice then scrub. That simple.
