Painting Peat Pots - safe paint for edible plants?

Posted by goldenecho z7 Dallas TX (My Page) on

We are doing a craft at my church involving planting seeds and then decorating the pots. I was considering vegetables, but I'm worried if they actually do plant the peat pots that the paint could taint the plants. Any idea for what might be safe paint options?
