Thanks, but I'm looking for something very simple. I spent literally an hour googling yesterday & have never been so sick of looking.

When I go to town on the 2nd I'll take a closer look at the cheapo ones that Wal*Mart sells. No fancy knots, just simply functional. All I want to do is hang one of my hot pepper plants to my deck trellis to make it easier to photograph. I want the Macramé hanger to be almost unnoticeable.

John, is your hot pepper plant in a pot? You can drill little holes in planter and put wire or string to hang.

Yes, it is in a 3 gal plastic nursery pot. I've kinda got my heart set on a string type holder that supports from the bottom of the pot. Easy to remove and change pots & more secure for these somewhat flimsy/brittle containers.

Your suggestion is appreciated though.

I bought one at Wally World today for $2.97 so I could copy. So incredibly simple to make that it irritates me that I didn't try to figure out from scratch. On second thought it's best I didn't try as am an idiot.

Forgot to buy some nylon string though. Aargh!
