Sealing outdoor mosaic birdbath?

Posted by mavlily NW CT ( on

I recently transformed two very old concrete birdbaths with mosaic tiles and they look great. The problem is, however, nothing that I seal the tiles with (glaze, etc.) seems to prevent the tiles from loosening up when exposed to water. Does anybody have any suggestions or recommendations of an outdoor glaze or sealer that I can use. Thank you.

You may want to ask your question on the forum at THS. I've been reading there as I keep telling myself I'm going to do what you just did! LOL josh

Try the sealer for grout at Lowes or Home Depot.
It is made for that.
