| Hello, I have a ton of yellow roses growin wild all over our neighborhood. I've been looking into doing something with them for decoration of some sort, but I'm not getting very far. I've seen a lot of potpourri "recipes" that include roses, but most of them say that yellow roses don't look too perty. Apparently they go brown once the dry. I've heard that liquid potpourri would be a good way to preserve the roses longer, but I can't find anything that says what to use for the liquid in a "liquid potpourri."
So, if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.. Or if you have any other ideas about rose decoration, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks, Connor |

| Have you tried to make sachets for your closets out of them? There is also a preservative you dip them in to keep them fresh looking, but it's like a shellac or varnish. Not sure the name, but you can search for it. I think using them preserved in something woven like daisy rings to go around lamps or bowls, even for hair ornaments, hair sticks, rose tiaras for spring dances, or for tea party ornaments around plates and things.
