Painted & Sealed Terra Cotta pots not drying

Ok, so I painted some terra Cotta pots(picture), used some acrylic clearcoat, and then used thompson's water seal on top. It's been 2+ days of 70+ daytime temp/60+ nighttime temp and they are still tacky to the touch. I heard Thompson's water Seal worked pretty well for terra cotta, but then I checked online and I'm getting mixed reveiws. Can anyone who knows about painting Terra Cotta help? Thankyou!
